78 watts, and no fan is too much for the housingJan 14, 2012

quick review: I've owned this lighting fixture for a few years. I'm not even sure people buy this fixture anymore. At the time, I was excited about this, but the main problem is that the housing makes a LOUD cracking noise for a half an hour every 30 seconds (or more) after the light turns off. The light is nice looking, produces the right amount of light, low profile etc. etc, but I'd stay far away. Bottomline, the light needs a fan that comes on when the light cools down.
